MVT AG is an internationally-active enterprise with domicile in Port BE (Switzerland) and is situated to the south of Biel/Bienne in the bilingual region Seeland, which is world-famous for its clock and watch industry and micromechanical companies. The company was founded 1982 with the aim to manufacturing nozzles for oil and gas burners. Since 1989 we focus on the development and production of high-performance nozzles for the water jet technology.

MVT AG is engaged in the development, construction, production and distribution of high-performance nozzles, systems and components for the water jet technology and is manufacturer of the MONRO-JET® nozzle. For our customers from various application areas we also manage special nozzles in our assortment such as snow, fog and cleaning nozzles.

Further, we can offer to our customers the professional and economic machining of hard compounds like sapphire, ruby, ceramics and carbide. We are also specialized in the high-precision finishing of drillings by honing.

In close collaboration with the Swiss Competence Centre for water jet technology SKWT and the Institute for Thermal and Fluid Engineering ITFE from the University of Applied Science FHNW in Brugg AG, many questions concerning the function of cutting and cleaning nozzles were answered over the past years within the scope of research projects and private concern. For these research projects and development the most advanced technological aid and equipment are at the disposal. Head of the institute is Prof. Dr. Kurt C. Heiniger.
