Surface processing

The inlet water is typically pressurized up to 2500 bar (36300 PSI) by a special high-pressure pump. In order to lend the necessary kinetic energy to this compressed water, the water is conducted through a very fine nozzle.

The desired intensity and effect of the water jet will be determined by the pressure as well as the correct nozzle choice.

The water jet technology is especially suited for fast, accurate and environmentally friendly working of surfaces and stock removal. Even sensitive surfaces can be prepared carefully with this procedure.

The surfaces are cleaned thoroughly without any residues and thus prepared in the best possible way for the subsequent treatment.

The applications in surface processing are very various: from the cleaning of buildings and facades, vessels, containers, highways and landing strips, pipes and conduits, to the trimming of cast parts, removal of concrete and bitumen layers, up to the decoating of soft and hard materials and basements.

Thanks to the high removal rate of the water jet an environmentally friendly procedure can be guarantee without the use of chemical products. Furthermore, the environmental compatibility can also be warranted at the addition of abrasive, due to extreme requirements.
